Newly installed back-to-wall toilet suite

If your tap water tastes of chlorine or leaves a film in the kettle, a filter makes a real difference. Terry supplies and installs under-sink drinking-water filters, twin and triple systems for finer filtration, and whole-house filters that treat every tap and shower in the place.

An under-sink filter is the most popular choice. It tucks away in the cupboard, feeds a dedicated tap on the sink, and gives you clean drinking and cooking water without cluttering the benchtop. Terry fits it tidily, connects it into your cold supply properly, and makes sure there are no drips left behind in the cupboard.

A whole-house filter sits where the water enters the house and cleans the lot, which is worth thinking about if you get sediment or want softer water through the whole home. Terry will look at where your mains comes in and tell you honestly whether it is worth it for your place.

He also does changeovers and servicing. If you already have a system and the water flow has dropped off or the filter is overdue, Terry can swap the cartridges and check the fittings. Old filters get clogged and can actually make water worse, so a regular change matters.

You can supply your own filter or Terry can bring one to suit. Either way he gives you a fixed quote before starting, and he does the job himself. Call 0415 274 542 and tell him what you are after.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an under-sink and whole-house filter?
An under-sink filter cleans the water at one tap, usually for drinking and cooking. A whole-house filter sits at your mains and treats every tap and shower. Terry can advise which suits your place and budget.
How often should I change my water filter?
Most cartridges last six to twelve months depending on the system and your water use. If flow has dropped or the water tastes off, it is overdue. Terry can do the changeover and check the fittings while he is there.
Can you install a filter I bought myself?
Yes. If you have already bought a system, Terry will fit it, connect it into your cold supply correctly and check for leaks. He can also supply one to suit if you would rather he sorted it all.
Will a filter fit under any sink?
Most under-sink filters fit fine, but it depends on your cupboard space and where the cold supply runs. Terry will have a look, work out the tidiest fit and quote it before starting.
